Pre-CanSkate

This program is aimed at children ages 3-6, who either cannot skate or can only penguin-walk across the ice!

Pre-CanSkate teaches the foundational skills of pushing, balancing, jumping, standing up independently after you've fallen, and other important basics. Graduates of Pre-CanSkate are ready for CanSkate!

This is NOT a parent-child class, so unfortunately no parents are allowed on the ice due to Skate Canada policies.

CanSkate

This program is aimed at children ages 6 and older, or younger children who can skate independently and get up from the ice without assistance.

CanSkate is designed to be a strong foundation for all ice sports, including hockey, figure skating, speed skating, or anything else on ice! It is a super fun program incorporating unique circuits, musically choreographed warm-ups and cool-downs, and challenges!

Junior Academy

Did your child pass Stage 3 of the CanSkate program? Then they are ready for Junior Academy! This is our intro-to-figure-skating course that finishes up the CanSkate program while teaching foundational figure skating skills!

If you're unsure if your skater should be a junior, please don't hesitate to reach out. Our coaches will also evaluate skaters at the beginning of each session to determine if they are ready to step up from CanSkate into Junior Academy!

StarSkate

The StarSkate program is for our most advanced skaters and is based on ten levels, Star 1 to Star 10. Graduates of Junior Academy are now officially StarSkaters!! At this stage, the club provides both private and group lessons to help each skater reach their maximum potential. 

These skaters have the opportunity to perform at competitions throughout the year and play a big role in our year-end Carnival.

Adult & Teen Classes

Every Tuesday we offer an Adult/Teen class for our older skaters! ALL skill levels are welcomed to this class, whether you've never touched the ice before or are wanting to eventually compete!
